WeddingRunbook exists so that a wedding photographer never again runs a 14-hour, no-do-overs day from memory. We built it for our own studio in Plovdiv, and every event we shoot runs on it.
Every wedding should run on a system, not on memory
A wedding has the same twenty-five things to do, in the same order, every time. The couple has the same ten questions. The second shooter needs the same timeline. The moment any of that lives in one person's head, a Saturday in July is one forgotten thing away from going wrong.
Our mission is to take all of it out of the photographer's head and put it on a runbook: dated, visible, shared with the people who need it, and in your pocket at the venue.
The calendar is the business
Most tools for photographers start with the sale and bolt a calendar on. We think it is the other way round. A season is a set of dates, each with deadlines before it and follow-ups after it; the quotes, contracts, galleries and payments hang off those dates.
We are building one system where the calendar is the backbone and everything a photographer, a couple or a second shooter needs is a step on it. Weddings first, then every event with a date: baptisms, proms, portraits, corporate shoots. One plan, nothing withheld, for a solo photographer and a small studio alike.
